Day Trip for Rollercoasters

A friend and I took a train from Beijing South Railway Station to Binhai Station (Tianjin) to ride rollercoasters for the day. Binhai Railway Station to Fantawild Adventure is about 30-40 minutes in a taxi. With short queues on a Thursday morning (with kids still in school), everything can be finished in about 3-4 max. We took a 35 minute taxi across town to Tianjin Happy Valley and rode more rides. This park was busier but the longest wait was 20-30 minutes for a ride. 50% of the park is indoor too (which was helpful because it started to sprinkle slightly as we arrived). Enjoyable day! Happy Valley was better but do both if you have time
