Drive 1.5 hours from Tianjin to escape into a "Little Morocco"—this guesthouse is so beautiful you'll never want to leave!

Recently went to Jixian and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xijingyu—just turning into the alley by car was stunning: the courtyard is covered in greenery, a stream gently flows around the stone path, endless summer hydrangeas bloom all over the yard, and distant mountain peaks float in the clouds, like a scene plucked straight from a painting~

▪️ Ground floor cave room: The curved walls have a strong exotic vibe! Open the window to hear birds in the forest, lie in bed watching clouds drift by, pure zen vibes~
▪️ Upstairs Huaxi room with a view: Four rooms named after flowers—“Tang, Ju, Zhu, Mei”—with corresponding plants planted outside the door. Sit by the floor-to-ceiling window sipping tea and watching the mountains, the breeze fills the room with fragrance~
▪️ Southern European style loft suite: A must for families with kids! Two floors can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. The room hides a slide + ball pit + reading corner, kids can play wildly here all afternoon without clinging to parents~

Daily parent-child activities: water balloon battles that leave you soaked, clay crafts making “wonky gourds” but still fun, plant dyeing that captures summer on fabric~ The courtyard has a sandpit for digging, a pond for catching little fish, and ducks waddling by the pool begging for food. Kids burn energy all day and fall asleep as soon as they hit the bed!

The courtyard lights up at dusk and it’s even more magical! Glowing little mushrooms and moon-shaped string lights turn it into an Alice in Wonderland scene, passersby stop to take photos~

🍲 The food is even more surprisingly delicious!
In the Moroccan-style restaurant, reservoir fish is so fresh you can’t help but savor it, the spicy mouthwatering chicken is just right, and the crispy rice crust crunches perfectly~ Every meal comes with freshly picked fruit, and the breakfast corn and sweet potatoes are so sweet they drip with syrup.
