🏛️ What It Is

A modern, visually stunning public library located in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin, China.

Opened in 2017 and designed by Dutch architecture firm MVRDV in collaboration with the Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute (TUPDI).

Covers over 33,700 square meters, with space for over 1 million books (although many shelves in the atrium hold printed panels, not real books).
