Victoria Harbor in Tianjin|A Stunning Lesser-Known Smog-Blue Seaside Park

Today, while watching seagulls at the Old Wharf,
I unexpectedly discovered a lesser-known seaside park nearby,
surrounded by the sea on three sides, with a distant view of skyscrapers across the shore.
The vertical lift Haimen Bridge connects both sides,
cruise ships pass by from time to time, and seagulls fly overhead.
It’s simply Tianjin’s Victoria Harbor.

🌉|Haimen Bridge
It is China’s first vertical lift steel structure bridge.
The daily lift to allow cruise ships to pass is definitely worth seeing.
This spot is perfect for photos,
with its striking and unique steel structure, exuding an industrial British vibe.
Photo spots: seaside benches, railings, rocks.

🌊|Three-Sided Sea View
The entire park is surrounded by the sea on three sides, offering views of three shores.
Across the water is the Haichang Polar Ocean World, whose shape resembles the Sydney Opera House.
On clear days, you can see Tianjin’s “Jingu Bang” Chow Tai Fook Financial Center.
Next to it is the Bund Wharf, where cruise ships pass by occasionally.
Here, you can enjoy breathtaking sea views.

🐦|Seagulls at the Old Wharf
Just a short 10-minute taxi ride away at the Old Wharf,
winter is the perfect season for gathering seagulls.
The sight of hundreds of seagulls soaring by the sea is truly spectacular.
Bring some bread to feed the seagulls and capture photos with them.
Enjoy the sunset, feed the seagulls, and watch the sparkling Tangerine Sea.
