Shigatse Totally Won Me Over

It’s got this laid-back charm and crazy beautiful surroundings that make it feel both peaceful and alive at the same time. I wandered around the streets, explored local shops, and visited Tashilhunpo Monastery, which was seriously stunning. The mix of deep spiritual energy and everyday Tibetan life is something you really have to feel in person.
Plus, the locals were super friendly, always smiling and happy to share their stories or help out.

The views? Next level. You’ve got big skies, rolling hills, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. Even just walking around town feels like a mini adventure. There’s a nice mix of culture, history, and just good vibes all around. I had the best yak dumplings ever and some sweet butter tea that totally grew on me. Honestly, if you're in Tibet, don’t skip Shigatse, it's a gem with heart.
