on my way to Tokashiki island π΄π’

Leaving the bustle of Naha, it only took a 35-40 minute speedboat ride to arrive at the dreamlike Tokashiki Island.
When the boat docked, we were greeted by an incredibly clear expanse of water. We took a bus to Aharen Beach, a 10-15 minute ride. After disembarking, we found a path leading to the beach, where we were greeted by the incredibly blue jelly-like sea. ππ
We didn't plan any water activities, but simply walking barefoot on the fine white sand felt like time had stopped. Listening to the crashing waves and watching the foamy whitecaps, like beer foam, enveloped our bodies and souls in the warmth of summer.
It would be a shame to stay in Okinawa and only stay on the main island. This paradise, accessible by boat without driving, is worth a day to immerse yourself in.
Notes:
1. Remember to book your ferry tickets online in advance. Check the official website before departure to see if the weather permits a ferry. Those prone to seasickness are strongly advised to take seasickness medicine. There were many people catching rabbits that day, both adults and children.
2. After landing on the island, a bus will take you to the beach. The fare is 400 yen (one-way for adults) in cash, and elementary school students pay half the price. Even if the first bus is full, an additional bus will be sent. The wait is about 15 minutes longer. The staff at the tourist center are very helpful and speak English.
3. For the marine activities at Aharen Beach, most of the vendors speak Chinese, so communication was easy.
