- Francis Xavier Church, a Roman Catholic church in European style with arched doors and stained glass decorations, was built during the reign of King Rama III in 1834 by Phraya Wisessongkhram and Phraya Narongrit Kosa, Catholic soldiers in the army. It was built in the heart of a Vietnamese Christian village that migrated to the Samsen area.
- St. Francis Xavier Church, Samsen, is named after Saint Francis Xavier, an important missionary who traveled to spread religion in East Asia, especially in India and Japan.
