Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025🌕 is a community-based art festival themed around the moon, taking place in the Shimokitazawa district of Tokyo.
This year marks the fourth anniversary of this event, bringing together a record-breaking 100 events, including art exhibitions, immersive theater, live music, exclusive menus, and special events! The event's signature feature is Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon🌕, a 7-meter-diameter sculpture that has been exhibited every year in the Shimokita Railroad Vacant Lot! The crater is depicted in minute detail, and the atmosphere changes between day and night, so be sure to check them out! 🌕
The other venues are also filled with art, but the photo is from earlier. 🐰 This year, we're featuring cats! 🐈 Be sure to come and meet them! ♬
