Asakusa, Japan | Senso-ji Temple.

Senso-ji Temple (Senso-ji) is located in the Asakusa district of Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in Japan, and also one of Tokyo's most iconic tourist attractions.

Upon arriving at Senso-ji Temple, you will first see the enormous Kaminarimon, a two-story gate. A dragon-shaped wind chime hangs in front of the gate, which is quite spectacular.

After passing through the Kaminarimon, you will enter a shopping street called 'Nakamise-dori', surrounded by various snack stalls and souvenir shops, bustling with activity. Here, you can find many traditional Japanese shops where you can buy all kinds of souvenirs, kimonos, handicrafts, and more.

Finally, you will come to the main hall of Senso-ji Temple, a magnificent wooden building that houses the Kannon Bodhisattva.

Here, you can pray to the Kannon Bodhisattva for peace. For 100 yen, you can get an omikuji (fortune-telling strip). You can easily find Chinese translations of the omikuji online. If you happen to draw a bad fortune, it's not a problem; just tie it to the nearby pillar to leave all the bad luck behind!

Overall, Senso-ji Temple is a unique place that combines religious faith, cultural tradition, and tourism experience. Whether you are someone interested in history or a traveler looking for novel experiences, it is well worth a visit.
