Tokyo Tokyo Sightseeing
There are many tourist spots in Tokyo, but this time I went to Ameya Yokocho, a tourist spot that you definitely can't miss if you come to Tokyo, so I'll share what it was like there.
📍Ameya Yokocho
📍6-10 Ueno, Taito-ku
Ameya Yokocho is also known as Ameyoko Shopping Street, and is a historic shopping street that has been around since shortly after the war!
It's about 500 meters from JR Ueno Station to Okachimachi Station, and there are about 400 different stores!
It's usually crowded, but what's particularly impressive is the bustle of people buying New Year's goods, which has become a seasonal tradition at the end of the year.
When I visited this time, it wasn't very crowded, but it was crowded with locals and tourists.
It was fun to see the famous Ameyoko bargain sales!
