Ueno park is indeed a park for all seasons. I will go to the extent of calling it the best thing about tokyo. While it may not be a hidden gem, but often with younger or newer travellers and social media being the main source of research. The existence and offerings of shibuya, Harajuku, shinjuku and other such famous places takes away attention from other things.

Ueno park is an amazing place. From its gorgeous temples to paths meant for walking, the greenery and museums. Makes the whole park a superior experience.

The Best part about ueno is that if you came during a different season, a new look will charm you. I visited in April, during the cherry blossom period and it continues to be amongst the most beautiful memories. #hiddengem #sakura #uenopark #memorable_trip #japan #cherryblossom2024
