The Jiangxi Strange Stone Forest is located in Wenshan, at the junction of Leping, Yiyang, and Wannian counties (cities). It shares a prime tourist route with renowned attractions such as Sanqingshan, the porcelain capital of Jingdezhen, Guifeng Mountain, and Longhushan. Its vast expanse and stunning beauty are exceptional among my country's stone forests, making it the largest, most concentrated, and most beautiful stone forest discovered in the country to date.
Walking into the forest of strange rocks, the lifelike pictographic stones, the beautiful and charming underground rivers, the caves of various shapes, the strange and mysterious tiankeng, the uncanny stone canyons and other karst landforms complement each other, and the green trees and vines form a series of moving ecological landscape pictures - some are exquisite and beautiful, some are wild and unrestrained, and some are like sculptures, delicate and meticulous.
The Weird Stone Forest is famous for its five strange features: a tree monstrosity, a stone monstrosity, a water monstrosity, a strange pit, and a strange climate. The Weird Stone Forest Scenic Area consists of four scenic areas: Fengjingping Scenic Area, Fengdongshi Scenic Area, Yuanzhiyuan Scenic Area, and Fengdongkou Scenic Area.
With a subtropical monsoon climate, the Stone Forest is a rare destination that combines tourism, leisure, adventure, and scientific research, and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
