Ueno Park, Tokyo

#cherryblossom25
Ueno Park is an absolute dream during cherry blossom season. I visited in early April and used the hashtag #cherryblossom25 to document every step — and I’m so glad I did. The park is vast, filled with more than a thousand sakura trees that create a delicate pink tunnel above your head. It was crowded, yes, but the energy was joyful — locals picnicking, kids chasing petals, and photographers everywhere. I arrived just before sunset, and the golden hour glow made the cherry blossoms look magical. The best part? The park stays lively even after dark thanks to the lanterns that light up the paths. If you’re into hanami parties or quiet strolls, Ueno Park delivers both. It felt like stepping into a spring postcard. Highly recommend bringing a mat, snacks, and your best camera. This spot is a must for any Tokyo cherry blossom itinerary! #cherryblossom25
