Absolutely cool!

So Gonpachi is the inspiration behind that kill Bill set, where the famous fight sequence takes place. Apparently they built a set in China, but it was a copy of this place in roppongi. It makes for a Very cool and nostalgic place to eat. Many celebrities have come here because of Kill Bill but the food and ambiance lived up to the hype.

Love the red wine they serve here and surprisingly it was decently priced at 2700 Japanese yen. Mid joint wings tasted awesome too. It's like an Izakaya, where you can order a variety of dishes from the menu. It's a great spot for hanging out. If you're in the area, I suggest paying a visit as everything I ordered was fantastic. There's also a sushi restaurant on the third floor that I haven't tried yet. I won't say that this was better than this or that. I have had better food, but come here for the ambience too and the setting.
