【Shibuya】Shibuya Sky, a popular observation deck in Tokyo🥰

🔹 SHIBUYA SKY Observatory

Although SHIBUYA SKY has been open for nearly five years, its popularity remains unabated! We pre-purchased our tickets on Trip.com a month in advance, and had relatively more time options.

▪️Ticket price: HKD$135/person

We originally planned to go there at 5-6 pm in the evening to capture the scenery during the day, Magic Hour and night, but in the end we could only get tickets for 18:20.

The two most popular check-in spots on the observatory are definitely a big test of your photography skills 📸:
1️⃣ Sky escalator
Although the escalator is a bit high, it is so far from the ground that I don’t feel particularly afraid of heights. Plus the escalator isn’t too long, I personally find the Hysan/Langham Place escalator scarier 🤣.

2️⃣ SKY EDGE glass wall corner
The waiting time here is about 50 minutes. The official will first take a photo for you to choose, and then each group of guests will have 30 seconds to take free photos. It is recommended to communicate with the next group of guests in advance and ask them to help take photos 🤳🏻, so that you can better manage your time~

The rooftop terrace has a large leisure area, which is comfortable for sitting or lying. There is also a light show called "CROSSING LIGHT" which is projected every 30 minutes after 7pm every day. Personally, I think the effect is a bit weak.

Finally, we visited the SKY GALLERY on the 46th floor, where the "FLOWER View | Flower Walk 229 meters above Shibuya" contrasts with the night view of Tokyo, adding a romantic atmosphere.
