A visit to Gotokuji Temple (Maneki Neko)

Gotoku-ji Temple is famous for the lucky cats that fill the temple. It is located in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. You can take the Odakyu Electric Railway on the Odawara Line to Gotoku-ji Station and then walk to Gotoku-ji Temple.
As soon as you step out of Gotokuji Station, you will see one of the main characters of today, the Maneki Neko. A large statue of the Maneki Neko is placed right in front of the station entrance. You can check in and take photos right away!
After walking for about 15 minutes, we arrived at the entrance of Gotokuji Temple. There are various trees planted in the temple, and the whole place is filled with greenery. It brings a bit of peace in the bustling downtown of Tokyo, which is really refreshing.
In addition to places for people to worship, the temple is also filled with the adorable lucky cats that everyone longs to see. There are so many of them that you can’t count them all, so you can check in and take photos with the cats to your heart’s content.
There are also lucky cat dolls for sale in the temple, which come in different sizes. You can buy any you like and place them at home to bring good luck to everyone. Goods related to Gotokuji Temple are also on sale.
Haoxi Temple is definitely a great place to visit.
