🇯🇵 Tokyo · Museum Exploration|Art galleries are scattered all over the city

Paintings are the most special things, just like the veins of leaves and genetic cells. There are no completely similar paintings in the world except forgeries. I’m not someone who knows much about painting, but I just like art galleries in every place.

🌸 National Museum of Western Art

One of the best Western art museums in Asia, the museum has a total collection of 4,400 Western paintings and sculptures, including works by masters such as Rodin, Monet, and Renoir. Almost all well-known modern painters have works here, and various exhibitions are often held here. The atrium garden is beautiful. In spring and autumn, you must order a cup of coffee and sit quietly.

In the permanent exhibition, I would skip the religious paintings directly. Freedom of thought has always been precious and never taken for granted. Entering Monet's house, the Impressionist, the imprisoned blood is liberated and flows back into the body, drifting forever, forever charming, this is what is precious in the world. It's really a room full of Monet paintings. Few people would not be moved.

🌿 Nezu Museum

The Nezu Museum in Minami-Aoyama is a special place in Tokyo, the paradise of art museums. It uses Buddhist art and tea ceremony culture as its spiritual body to display related art works. It is the most "Japanese" art museum. Under the bamboo forest corridor, the courtyard with a deep Zen atmosphere is called "the blank space hidden in the city". The architectural design alone is not to be missed. #TokyoItinerary
