Nezu Museum

#tokyospots

The Nezu Museum in Minato felt like an elegant retreat blending art and nature seamlessly. Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the building itself is minimalist and calming, perfectly complementing the refined collection of Japanese and East Asian art. I was drawn to the exhibits of calligraphy, ceramics, and Buddhist art, but what truly stole my heart was the garden. Strolling through its winding paths, mossy stones, and tranquil ponds felt like entering a hidden sanctuary in the middle of Tokyo. The contrast of contemporary architecture with a timeless garden made the experience both inspiring and restorative. A true Tokyo jewel.
