[Automated Gate User Registration]
I'll explain it in detail! It's a registration to use an [automated gate], but what exactly is an automated gate? You're probably wondering.
Automated gates are special gates recommended by the Immigration Bureau to alleviate and avoid congestion during busy times!

[Advantages of automated gates] You can apply at the airport on the day of your trip, so it doesn't take much time! It only takes about 5 minutes🙆♀️That's all it takes to avoid lining up at the immigration office😙What's more, once you register as a user, you don't need to apply again until your passport expires! If you don't change anything for 5 to 10 years, you don't have to worry about renewals.
⚠️Airports where it is installed: Narita International Airport T1/T2 Haneda Airport T3 Chubu Centrair International Airport T1 Kansai International Airport T1/T2
In fact, it was great to be able to go through the immigration without any stress! One thing to note is that it is not installed in some terminals, so people who use LCCs (such as Jeju Air departing from T3 at Narita 🥲) cannot use it 😭
