Gotokuji Temple, Tokyo's Cutest Cat Shrine

Famous for its Maneki-neko (beckoning cat), the temple displays over 500 lucky cat figurines. Unfortunately, I missed the chance to ride the cat train 🥲

Under the eaves, rows of small lucky cats are hidden. Not wanting to go against good fortune, I bought a lucky cat here 😆

The lucky cat area in the temple isn't very large, so if you want to take photos, it's best to come early. It's also not far from the city center 🚆

In autumn, you can see beautiful maple leaves here, which should be stunning, but visiting in midsummer to enjoy the greenery is also very nice 🍃
