A Quiet Spot in the Bustling City|Tokyo Deep Travel - Shiba Daijingu Shrine

Shiba Daijingu Shrine

📍 Location
1-12-7 Shibadaimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo
One of Tokyo's oldest shrines, dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami and Toyouke Omikami. Known as the "Ise Shrine of Kanto," it is a popular shrine for love and matchmaking prayers and also hosts the large-scale "Daradara Matsuri."

🚃 Transportation (from Ningyocho)
1. Take the Toei Asakusa Line from Ningyocho Station (toward Nishi-Magome)
2. After about 10 minutes, get off at Daimon Station, exit A6, and walk about 3 minutes to reach Shiba Daijingu Shrine
(The whole trip takes about 15 minutes, simple and quick)

📝 Personal Impressions
Shiba Daijingu is very close to the subway station, the kind of shrine that suddenly appears when you turn a corner in the city. The shrine is small but surprisingly quiet and solemn, standing out as especially calm amid the high-rise buildings of Minato Ward.

There were hardly any people that day, so I could quietly walk around the grounds. There is a cute "Enmusubi Bell," said to be very effective for love luck, and many pink ema plaques, showing that love prayers are a major focus here. Although there is no grand torii gate or long approach, the overall atmosphere is very pleasant, perfect for a quick visit to pray before continuing your journey.
