Asakusa Trip

#TokyoGuide #AsakusaSightseeing

A food-walking tour around Asakusa

1st stop: Asakusa Seisakusho
They press the tempura for you
I had kakiage, and my friend had shrimp tempura 🍤

2nd stop: Imo Pippi
Since Asakusa is famous for sweet potatoes, we went to a place that caught our eye
Purple sweet potato Mont Blanc and roasted sweet potato ice cream 🍨
It was sunny and quite hot, so it was just right 😋

3rd stop: Asakusa Ichigoza
After getting tired from walking, we had a glass of strawberry beer 🍺
It has a strawberry flavor and is recommended even for those who don’t like beer 🍓
It was a bit too sweet for me though...

4th stop: Cafe Meursault
Unlike the area around Sensoji Temple, we walked through a quiet alley to get here
Enjoyed tea at the terrace seats while overlooking the Sumida River
The tart and tea in this relaxed atmosphere were the best ☕️

Bonus: Imado Shrine
After eating too much, we took a 20-minute walk to Imado Shrine
It’s famous as a matchmaking shrine
Hoping for wonderful connections 😌💕
