Akasaka is one of Tokyo’s most refined neighborhoods—where elegance, tradition, and modern luxury quietly coexist. It’s the kind of place that feels both exclusive and welcoming.
I started the day at the Akasaka Palace (State Guest House). Even from the gates, the grandeur of the building is breathtaking. It’s a rare chance to see such European-style architecture in Japan.
After that, I visited the Japanese garden at Hotel New Otani. It’s beautifully landscaped, with koi ponds, waterfalls, and stone lanterns—an oasis in the heart of the city.
For lunch, I treated myself to the Garden Lounge buffet. The large windows overlook the garden, and the seasonal dishes were just as lovely as the view.
Why I recommend Akasaka:
・You can explore refined spots full of cultural charm and natural beauty
・It’s perfect for a calm, luxurious Tokyo day without the crowds
