🌸[Sakura-Shinmachi Sazae-san Street] A path where you can truly encounter the scenery you saw on TV that day.

Setagaya, Tokyo.
As you step out of Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line's "Sakura-Shinmachi" Station and start walking, you are enveloped in a nostalgic atmosphere.

That's because this town is the hometown of Sazae-san.

Here on "Sazae-san Street," in the place where Machiko Hasegawa lived,
the warmth of family and memories of the Showa era come alive.

Street lamps feature silhouettes of the Sazae-san family,
shopfronts in the shopping street display illustrations of the Isono family.
If you look up, you’ll see the silhouette of Namihei watching over the sky.

📸 The famous photo spot is the **"Bronze Statue of the Sazae-san Family"** right in front of the station!
Sazae-san, Masuo-san, Wakame, Katsuo, Tara-chan...
The family everyone knows welcomes travelers with smiles.

🍡 Along the street, there are comforting Japanese confectionery and bakery shops.
As you walk, time flows by, bringing back memories of "Japan of those days."

🖼 Nearby, at the "Machiko Hasegawa Museum," original drawings and precious works from that time are on display.
It’s a place where you can learn about the depth of Sazae-san beyond just the anime.
