One Day Solo Trip in Tokyo

Tokyo in a day? Absolutely! If you're on a solo trip like me and want to enjoy good food, a relaxed stroll, and some Instagram-worthy shots, here's a full-day itinerary that covers food, cafes, fashion, and great vibes without getting lost. 💛

🍣 08:30 – Start your morning fresh at Miura Misaki Kou (三浦三崎港)

Kick off your day with a hearty bowl of fresh sashimi! I ordered a variety of tuna sashimi rice bowls. It feels like a fish market experience but cleaner and more comfortable. The prices are reasonable for the quality. A must-visit for sashimi lovers.

🍚 10:30 – Late breakfast at Tsujihan (Nihonbashi branch)

I absolutely love this place! They serve sashimi rice bowls pre-mixed with sauce, which smells amazing. I ordered the "Zukedon," and at the end, they provide hot fish soup to pour over the remaining rice, turning it into a Japanese-style porridge. So delicious, you'll want seconds! 🍲
(Pro tip: Get in line by 10 AM to avoid long waits.)

🚇 12:30 – Stroll around Harajuku / Omotesando / Cat Street

These three areas are heaven for fashion enthusiasts, photographers, and cafe hoppers.
• Start at Cat Street: A laid-back street with trendy clothing stores and unique cafes.
• Move on to Omotesando: Super chic with stunning architecture that feels like Europe.
• End at Takeshita Street in Harajuku: Full of Japanese teens, vibrant and fun vibes.

I stopped by a cafe on Cat Street and snapped some photos with the soft sunlight filtering through the streets. Such a great vibe! 🌤️📷

🥩 16:00 – Dinner at Gyukatsu Motomura

If you haven't tried "Gyukatsu" yet, you must! It's rare beef cutlet served for you to grill yourself on a hot plate. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and pairs perfectly with wasabi or their special sauce. Absolutely delicious!
(They have multiple branches. I went to the Shibuya one, but there's also one in Shinjuku.)

🌆 18:00 – End your day with Tokyo vibes in Shinjuku

Stroll around Kabukicho for neon lights and great photo ops. If you prefer a quieter vibe, head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for a free view of the city. The sunset view is stunning too.
