
Jinggangshan University, referred to as "Jingda", is located in Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, the cradle of the Chinese revolution, Jinggangshan. It is a university jointly supported by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology in consultation with the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is a counterpart supported by Tongji University. It is a full-time comprehensive university integrating graduate education, general undergraduate education and education for international students.
As of March 2019, the university has four campuses, covering an area of 2,454 mu, with a building area of approximately 680,000 square meters. The library has a collection of more than 2.23 million books and one "Grade 3A" affiliated hospital. It has 15 teaching colleges (departments) and 3 management colleges. There are more than 17,000 full-time undergraduate students and 95 master's students. There are 508 international students and 1,078 full-time teachers. The university enrolls students from 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Jinggangshan University boasts a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with spring flowers, summer, autumn leaves, and winter snow all adorning the beautiful campus. It's a great place to visit in all four seasons.
