Sunshine Aquarium Tokyo is located on the rooftop of the World Import Building in Ikebukuro Sunshine City, Tokyo, Japan. It is a very popular indoor and outdoor aquarium experience 🤣 About a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, very convenient 👍🏻

The aquarium is themed as an "Aerial Oasis," featuring two indoor floors and an outdoor "Marine Garden," with about 70 tanks showcasing 550 species and 23,000 marine animals 🐟 Highlights include the Sunshine Aqua Ring (a transparent ring-shaped tank with sea lions and penguins swimming above), Penguins in the Sky (penguins flying on the rooftop), and Kurage Kukan (a dreamy 14-meter-long jellyfish exhibition 🥹🪼)

The environment is quiet and comfortable, with Tully’s Coffee and the Aqua Pocket souvenir shop (selling penguin plush toys and various limited-edition items 💸💸) on the rooftop. Nearby Sunshine City mall offers various shops, restaurants, the largest capsule toy area, and more, so you can easily spend half a day here 🤣👍🏻
