Mogo's Black Kongguksu in Kyodo, Tokyo

Kongguksu, a summer staple in Korea similar to Japan's cold ramen, is typically made with white soybeans. However, in Korea, there's also a black version made with black soybeans called 'Solite,' and it's available on the menu. It's a rare treat to enjoy a taste not commonly found in Korea, right here in Japan.

The black soybeans offer a unique depth of flavor and richness, perfectly complementing the chewy cold noodles, allowing you to savor every drop of the soup.

On this day, the side dishes included small jeon (Korean pancakes), cucumber kimchi, and stir-fried shishito peppers.

For dessert, there was watermelon juice.
