✨ The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (MOMAT), located close to Takebashi Station and along the moat of the Imperial Palace, offered a truly intense experience, questioning "what does it mean to see?" His works, which alternate between photorealism and abstraction, quietly speak to us, while the massive canvases are imbued with a misty ambiguity.
The lighting and white space in the exhibition room were carefully calculated, creating an experience that felt like the entire space was a work of art.

After viewing the exhibits, we took a short break at the museum's cafe, "Museum Cafe & Restaurant L'Ah et Mikuni."
We enjoyed a moment immersed in Richter's work while gazing out the window at the greenery and moat of the Imperial Palace.
The scenery, where the museum and Tokyo's nature seem to blend together, instantly relaxes the soul.
On the way home, I bought some of my favorite flowers.

📸 Tips for Posting Photos:
• Photography is prohibited inside some of the exhibition rooms, so we recommend the exterior, moat, and views from the cafe.
• The "documentary photos" of tickets, catalogs, cafe tableware, and more are also enjoyable.
• Even on a rainy day, the moist air and Richter's works were a perfect match.
