A well-known Japanese temple among Thais, Senso-ji is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan, located in the Asakusa district.

Famous for its Kaminarimon Gate, with its large red lantern as its symbol, it is a popular tourist attraction, attracting many visitors, both Japanese and international.

The current building was rebuilt after being destroyed during World War II.

This temple was built to enshrine the goddess of mercy, Kannon, in 645 AD, making it the oldest temple in Tokyo.
