[Tokyo] Mesm Tokyo Accommodation Review

I stayed here for free as part of my Marriott benefits. It's in a rather inconvenient location, and the entrance is hard to find. They ask for your name as soon as you enter the entrance. Then, I headed upstairs to the hotel reception. The view was amazing, but the reception and lounge were smaller than I expected. The view was toward the Skytree, but not much of the Rainbow Bridge. Apparently, rooms with a good view of the Conrad have better views and balconies. I was assigned a room on a higher floor, but the view was toward the Gate Bridge. It felt like I was looking at the view through the gap between the building and the hotel. The room was spacious! The bathroom was completely visible through the glass. The sink was spacious, and they even had the famous book-shaped amenities. The bed was truly princess-like. The furniture was also beautiful. They had Sarutahiko coffee. There were bottled drinks with stoppers in the refrigerator. Oh, and there was a tea whisk for making matcha. However, there was no space to put anything. There was no desk. I guess desks aren't necessary in a luxury hotel. One thing that felt a little odd was the staff uniforms. They were all black, and they looked like part-timers at an izakaya. Apparently it was designed with a ninja theme. Overall, for this price, I think I'd stay at a well-established hotel. It might be a good, innovative option for young couples looking to make an effort to stay here. #TokyoHotel #LuxuryHotel
