During our family trip to Tokyo a couple of months ago, we visited The Tokyo National Museum, a stately museum complex dedicated to the art and antiquities of Japan as well as other Asian countries.
It was an absolutely fantastic experience! The museum offers a vast collection of fascinating artifacts — from samurai swords and kimonos to Buddhist statues — beautifully showcasing Japan’s rich history and culture.
The admission fee is very reasonable, ▶️ ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for children, and the English audio guide added so much depth to the visit. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the exhibits and easily spent around three hours there. Truly, a must-visit spot in Tokyo for anyone interested in Japanese history and culture.
