Hakata Motsunabe Oyama Ginza served the best Motsunabe I had in Japan!
It was a little on the pricier end, however, definitely worth every yen!!
Motsunabe is a Kyushu specialty. It's a hot pot (nabe) dish made out of tripe, garlic, cabbage, chives, and a spicy pepper called togarashi. This dish is a local favorite for its inexpensiveness and warmth. It's usually cooked right on the table at restaurants and at home, and eaten with white rice.
