The Wulong Peak Scenic Area is located in the heart of the Zhengzhou Yellow River Scenic Area. It's called the Five Dragons Peaks because the five winding mountain ridges resemble five giant dragons guarding the Yellow River. Eight large, thick green pipes atop the peaks serve as the primary symbol of the Zhengzhou Mangshan Irrigation Station. This water conservancy project has solved Zhengzhou's water shortage and is known as the "lifeline of the people of Zhengzhou."
On the road to Wulong Peak lies a pond called the Plum Blossom Pond, within which stands a white marble statue called "Nurturing." The statue, clad entirely in pure white, depicts a mother with her hair in a bun, dressed in a Tang suit, holding a baby, her face dignified and loving. This statue represents both the Yellow River and the Chinese nation, vividly conveying the close bond between the Yellow River and the Chinese nation and the motherly love they share. Five bluestone, one-horned mosquito dragons surround the edge of the pond, their heads facing the "mother," symbolizing the principle of "subduing the dragon and obeying its command."
The warm temperate monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel in all four seasons.
There are Jimu Pavilion, Kaijin Pavilion, Yishan Pavilion, Changhuai Pavilion, Heqing Pavilion, Mudan Pavilion, Yinlu Pavilion, etc. At the foot of the mountain, a white female statue sits in a plum blossom-shaped pool, holding a baby, looking particularly elegant, kind and beautiful. The statue is named "Nurture" to symbolize that the Yellow River has nurtured the Chinese nation.
