Tongliao City is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Tongliao City is situated between 42°15′—45°59′ north latitude and 119°14′—123°43′ east longitude. It borders Jilin Province to the east, Liaoning Province to the south, Chifeng City and Xilingol League to the west, and Hinggan League to the north, covering a total area of 59,535 square kilometers.
