After visiting Tonglu many times, I’m still captivated by this Conrad hotel and don’t want to leave—once the car starts winding up the mountain road, it’s like switching to “silent mode.” Turning a corner, suddenly you see: the building nestled along the mountain, embedded in the forest, with Tianxi Lake like a piece of green jade spread beneath your feet. Instantly, you understand what “a fold of green mountains like a screen” really means~

The basic room is over 70 square meters! We stayed in a lake view room with a 270-degree terrace—lying on the rattan chair sipping tea while watching clouds slowly crawl over the mountain tops, time feels stretched out twice as long~

Eating while gazing at the lake through the window makes your appetite soar~ The Western restaurant offers a mix of Chinese and Western dishes; in the evening, set a table on the terrace, the sunset dyes the lake pink and gold, even steak feels romantic~
