Listen to advice: This way you can avoid 99% of the crowds in Wuzhen

Hi, I'm YY

I've been to Wuzhen many, many times
Wuzhen in spring and summer is especially beautiful
With green leaves sprouting new buds, the view is lush and vibrant
The paddle boats drifting on the Xizha River are so leisurely and relaxing
But the bustling crowds make it so hard to take good photos in Wuzhen
I've put together a summer travel guide for Wuzhen
To help you avoid 99% of the tourists!!

🔻
Tip 1⃣: Stay at a hotel within the Wuzhen scenic area!
Tip 2⃣: Visit Wuzhen early in the morning!
🔺

This time I chose to stay at "Wuzhen Di Shang Resort Hotel"
You can check in directly at the tourist service center. If you want to explore Wuzhen first, the staff can deliver your luggage to the hotel - so thoughtful!
Staying at the hotel means 🆓 free entry to Wuzhen, plus unlimited free shuttle rides within the scenic area - perfect for lazy travelers
The main advantage is that you can explore before the scenic area officially opens (at 9:00 AM)

【Two-Day, One-Night Wuzhen Itinerary】
Day 1: Check in at scenic area service center - luggage delivery to hotel - Xizha Street - Caomu Bense Dyehouse - Dingsheng Bridge - Zhaoming Academy - Bailian Pagoda
Day 2: Lingshuiju Pier - Xizha Street - Mu Xin Art Museum

【Wuzhen Accommodation Guide】
"Di Shang Resort Hotel"
After checking in at the scenic area entrance, staff will deliver your luggage to the hotel
You can then take free shuttle rides to explore Wuzhen
Even with kids or elderly family members, it won't be tiring at all
Walking all the way down Xizha Street leads you to Di Shang Resort Hotel

The entire hotel is adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal
Designed with ship-inspired architecture, even the rooms have sail motifs
From your room, you can see all of Wuzhen's Xizha area
Plus boats coming and going on the canal

The singing bowl room, infinity pool, sky garden, indoor pool, and gym
All face Wuzhen Xizha's Bailian Pagoda
Watching the sunset from the sky garden is so beautiful and relaxing!

At night, we enjoyed authentic Japanese cuisine at Chuan Japanese Restaurant
Chatting over dinner made us forget all life's trivial worries
Not satisfied yet, we headed to Dream Like a Dream Bar for some cocktails🍹
The vacation vibes in Wuzhen were absolutely perfect!!

Returning to our room for a comfortable bath
Using my favorite L'Occitane Verbena toiletries
Lying on the smart mattress adjusted to the perfect angle
All the day's fatigue just melted away

For Day 2 breakfast, you can choose between the free "Morning Tea" experience in the scenic area or hotel breakfast
Having tried the Morning Tea before, we opted for hotel breakfast this time
Eating breakfast by the window with irises in view was so chill!!
We also visited Mu Xin Art Museum which had a special Beethoven exhibition
Art lovers shouldn't miss this~

📸【Wuzhen Photo Spots】
1⃣ Standing on Dingsheng Bridge
2⃣ Waiting for the dyed fabrics to flutter in the wind at Caomu Bense Dyehouse
3⃣ Sitting by small alley entrances facing the river
Wuzhen retains its ancient and original charm, with many small courtyards and houses to visit. The commercialization isn't excessive, making it great for photos
