Toronto|I want to recommend Toronto Islands to everyone

Toronto Islands actually consist of three parts: Ward’s Island, Centre Island, and Hanlan’s Point. There are frequent ferry services between these three areas, and you can check the specific times in the comments section, making trip planning super convenient.

The ferry departs from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, which is very close to Union Station and within walking distance. Taking the ferry to the islands is very hassle-free, costing about 9 CAD per person round trip, and the ferry leaves on schedule; if you want to save time, you can also choose a water taxi, which costs a bit more for a one-way trip.

Centre Island is the most popular, featuring a children's playground, a farm zoo, a small lake, and gardens. When you get tired of walking, you can find restaurants or shops to rest, with more options than the other two islands. Ward’s Island is mainly residential, with colorful small houses that look great, a lakeside boardwalk perfect for strolling, and a nearby golf course, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. Hanlan’s Point has the Toronto Islands Airport and also hides a lighthouse, which gives a vintage vibe for photos.

While hiking along the islands, you often see swans gliding across the lake 🦢 and little wild ducks chasing ripples. When tired, find a patch of grass to rest, enjoy the lake breeze, and take in the scenery—it's both pleasant and relaxing.
