Nature and Humanities - Tottori Sand Dunes and Castle Ruins

August 30th
The Tottori Sand Dunes shimmered golden under the blazing sun.
The scorching wind blew against my face, making walking on the soft sand particularly arduous.
I first experienced taking photos with a camel, carefully climbing onto its back and asking the owner to take photos for me, creating a special memory.
Then, we climbed the dunes' highest point, "Horseback Hill," with other tourists.
Step by step, we sunk deeper into the sand, sweat dripping down our faces.
The view upon reaching the summit was breathtaking.
The vast dunes stretched out to the azure Sea of Japan, and the sea and sky merged into one, a magnificent sight.
Although the journey was arduous, the moment I stood atop the hill and gazed out into the distance, all the hard work was transformed into unforgettable, beautiful memories.
Concluding our sand dune and coastal tour, we headed to the Tottori Castle ruins.
We climbed slowly along the stone walls to the summit, overlooking the city, mountains, and sea, and felt a sense of relief.
The grandeur of nature intertwined with the weight of history made the journey deeply moving.
