This time, I stayed in Toyama City for two nights on my way back from Tateyama, staying at a guesthouse.
It's a little far from Toyama Station, about four tram stops away, but it's right in the city center.
What's surprising is that it's run and operated primarily by students from Toyama University!
It serves as a place for student travelers from all over the country to socialize.
I was also taken out to dinner with other guests and the staff!
You should definitely try staying in Toyama City!
