Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui Must-Visit Course

My Hong Kong friend said this is a must-visit restaurant they always take their foreign friends to when they come to visit, so I came early in the morning to line up right when it opened. I heard the line is always long, and even though I came early, there was already a long waiting line ahead of me.
Still, the line moved faster than I expected. According to my friend, Hong Kong people can be just as impatient as Koreans, if not more so.
Inside the store, there was a wide variety of drinks and breads. Today, my goal was the egg tart, so I just looked around at the other breads. The coffee is also said to be delicious, so I plan to try the coffee and other breads next time I come.
You can buy up to 30 pieces per person, and many people buy them to take home on their return flights after traveling. Each costs 12.5 Hong Kong dollars (about 2,200 KRW).
My friend said it tastes best when eaten warm, so I tried it right after buying it. The cream inside was very moist and soft like Japanese pudding. The egg tart itself felt heavier than I expected, with a crispy outside and moist inside. I ate the leftovers a little later, and it was still really delicious even after it cooled down.
It was definitely worth waiting in line for.
