Today I arranged to have dinner with a friend in Tsuen Wan and chose a restaurant serving Taiwanese flavors🍴

We first ordered the garlic soy sauce lettuce, which was crisp and tasty with a strong garlic aroma that whetted the appetite.

Next, we ordered the Taiwanese braised platter. The sauce was very rich, paired with various ingredients, creating distinct layers of flavor that left a lasting impression.

Another snack was sesame oil vegetarian noodles with spicy century egg. The sesame oil aroma was strong, the vegetarian noodles were delicious, and paired with century egg it added a unique flavor.

For the main course, I chose the signature braised beef tendon noodles. The broth was rich and slightly spicy. The beef was tender, and the mild spiciness was just right, making it hard to stop eating.

In contrast, my friend’s clear stewed beef noodles offered a different style. The broth was light yet flavorful, and the handmade noodles had a pleasantly chewy texture that was a delightful surprise.

Finally, the matcha latte and high mountain oolong milk green tea as drinks, whether the refreshing matcha dessert or the well-balanced milk green tea, perfectly concluded the meal. Overall, the dining experience was satisfying and worth a return visit.
