Ancient Uchisar Cappadocia-Sunset🧡💛

Before dawn, I took a shuttle bus to the empty valley, ready to take a Cappadocia hot air balloon ride. As the flames are lit, colorful hot air balloons rise into the sky. Below you are the fairytale rocky terrain and valleys. At sunrise, the golden light shines, and it is breathtakingly beautiful.
Back on the surface, I visited the local cave houses and underground city ruins. These historic buildings were carved into volcanic rocks and were shelters for early Christians, and traces of life can still be seen today.
Arrive at the quiet town of Ortahisar at noon, climb the spectacular Ortahisar Castle to overlook the panoramic view of the valley, and enjoy kebab and yogurt at a local home-style restaurant to replenish your energy and enjoy the authentic taste.
Then I visited the Camel Rock (Devrent Valley), a natural rock formation shaped like a camel. This stone forest seemed to be on an alien planet, with all its strange shapes and forms that could be imagined. Visiting Pigeon Valley, you can see pigeon houses carved into the cliffs along the way. This was a way of conveying messages in the past and is also a beautiful cultural imprint.
In the evening, I checked into a cave hotel in Cappadocia and made a cup of Turkish apple tea in the warm space surrounded by rock walls, which brought a gentle end to this dreamlike journey.
