Iwashimizu Shrine
138-1 Iwa, Yoshii-cho, Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture
Open 24 hours

Apparently, the shrine was enshrined from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in Kyoto.
It is located in a quiet residential area, adjacent to a park.

Two pairs of lion-dog statues give the shrine a sense of antiquity.
The main shrine building is new, apparently rebuilt thanks to the enthusiasm of local residents.

It was built in 1319, the first year of the Gen'o era, making it a shrine with over 700 years of history.

◆Enshrined Deities◆
Shindawake no Mikoto (Emperor Ojin)
Sumiyoshi-no-Okami
Tamatarui no Mikoto
