Genghis Khan Park is located on the top of Khan Mountain in the north of Ulanhot City. The Genghis Khan Temple is located in the park and is the only temple in the world that commemorates Genghis Khan. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The temple was designed by artist Nailer and construction began in 1940. It was completed on October 10, 1944. The temple faces south and is shaped like the Chinese character for "mountain" (山) with a round top. The main hall is 28 meters high, and the east and west side halls are 16.62 meters high. The roofs are connected by circular corridors, each with three small spires covered with green glazed tiles. Genghis Khan Park is a comprehensive park that integrates historical protection, exhibition, and square landscape, and combines the architectural styles of the Mongolian, Han, and Tibetan ethnic groups.
