Visiting Rainbow Waterfall in Sungai Lembing is not just a hike — it’s a full-blown adventure that rewards you with one of Malaysia’s most magical natural wonders.

🚙 The Journey Begins
The day started early — around 5am the guide fetched us from our homestay for a simple breakfast before the real adventure began. By 6:30am, we were bouncing in a 4x4, riding through the dark towards the forest trail. The ride itself felt like a mini rollercoaster 🎢- shaky, wild, and fun.

🌈 The Waterfall Magic
Arriving at the waterfall around sunrise is surreal. The misty spray, the thundering water, and — if you’re lucky — a rainbow appearing right before your eyes.

🍜 Local Flavors & Side Treats
Back in town, food is part of the charm. Don’t miss the famous Mee Lembing, kampung-style and affordable. On weekends, the food court buzzes with roast pork and other local delights, but weekdays are quieter with fewer options.

💡 I’m not a jungle trekking person — my muscles ached for three days after this 😅. But standing before Rainbow Waterfall, drenched in mist and surrounded by nature’s raw beauty, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
