I finally made it to Uluru before the hottest season. Although I have seen countless photos of this big rock on social media, I was still shocked when I saw it in person! The rock changes color at sunset, which is amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't join the stargazing tour and missed the chance to take close-up photos of Uluru under the Milky Way. Some tips:
1️⃣ The highest temperature in Uluru is 35-36°C from October, so most day tours start at 4 am, which is really early! If you can't get up early, I suggest you go in winter.
2️⃣ You must stay at Ayers Rock Resort. The nearest town to Uluru, Alice Springs, is 500 km away, which is too far.
