Unzen Jigoku: A Hot Spring Destination to Experience the Power of Nature

Unzen Jigoku, located in Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture, is a hot spring area with a history spanning approximately 1,300 years. Its origins trace back to the Nara period when the monk Gyoki established Manmyoji Temple on Mount Onsen. Today, it is designated as Japan's first national park.
