📍 **Unzen Jigoku**
This is the central geothermal area of Unzen Onsen, located in Obama-cho, Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Steam and the smell of sulfur rise from more than 30 types of fumaroles and mud volcanoes, creating a hellish scene.

Free to visit, no admission fee (walking on the promenade is also free)

Opening hours: 24 hours in the hell zone (no nighttime illumination)

Some facilities, such as foot steaming and the hell workshop, are open from 10:00 to 17:00

Access:
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car from Nagasaki City / Approximately 1 hour 10 minutes from Nagasaki Airport

Located in the center of the Shimabara Peninsula Geopark, it can also be accessed by public transport, such as the Unzen Onsen bus

Parking: Paid parking in Unzen Onsen town (approximately 200 cars / 500 yen per day) is available
