This is what happens when a family with children living in Tokyo goes to Disney for 3 nights and 4 days

In mid-July this year, my boyfriend and I visited the long-awaited Tokyo DisneySea 🌊🎡. As the world's only Disney park themed around the ocean, every detail—from the architecture, music, and character designs to the atmosphere in every corner—is so meticulously crafted that it leaves you in awe.
🎟️ Entry & DPA Strategy
Tokyo DisneySea is always crowded, so we specifically chose a weekday to visit. We arrived at 8:30 am and waited about an hour to enter the park. As soon as we got in, we immediately purchased DPA (Disney Premier Access) through the app. We first bought access for Frozen Journey and then, an hour later, for Soaring: Fantastic Flight. These two attractions are extremely popular, and the DPA really saved us a lot of waiting time. 🤭
For other attractions, I also recorded the actual waiting times, which you can check out in my previous video.
🏰 Must-Play Recommendation: Tower of Terror
My favorite attraction has to be the Tower of Terror. From the story introduction at the entrance, the mysterious atmosphere of the old hotel, to the thrilling drop moment—it’s both exciting and incredibly fun. The only hiccup was that my bag didn’t fit into the storage bag provided before the ride, and during the drop, it almost "flew away" 😅. It scared me so much that I held onto it tightly afterward!
🍴 Midday Recharge: Vulcania Restaurant
For lunch, we chose Vulcania Restaurant, one of the few Chinese cuisine-themed restaurants in the park. We ordered the Set Menu, which included an appetizer, main course, dessert, and a drink. The taste exceeded our expectations! I even paid extra for a special Fantasy Springs commemorative plate as a keepsake. The total cost was about HKD100 per person, which is reasonable for a theme park restaurant. The interior resembles a volcanic cave, making it a unique and cool spot to escape the heat.
🛍️ Shopping Time: Chip ’n Dale Bonanza 🐿️
This summer, there were so many Chip ’n Dale-themed items, including clothes, sunscreen, fans, etc.—all too adorable to resist 😍! However, I searched the entire park and couldn’t find a Stitch headband. Make sure to research the differences between DisneySea and Disneyland beforehand 🥹.
📸 Tips:
• Entry Time: Be sure to arrive before the park opens. Entering the app and booking DPA attractions right at opening is the most cost-effective strategy.
• Summer Sun Protection: The heat is intense, so don’t forget sunscreen! 🥵🥵
🎠 Conclusion
Tokyo DisneySea is truly a dreamlike park filled with intricate details. It’s perfect not only for couples but also for photography enthusiasts. Whether it’s exploring the scenery, dining at restaurants, or shopping for merchandise, every step is worth reminiscing about. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely visit again to experience the attractions I missed this time 🥹.
